Sunflower FilmCamp is a short-film training and practicing program where enthusiasts can start making acceptable quality short films as a team, usually between 07 days and 14 days. The program is considered another flagship event organized by SFA, yet open to the public. We have had these great opportunities to collaborate with various organizations on comprehensive topics, from WinRock’s campaigns countering human trafficking and safe migration to the Japan Foundation’s COVID19 stories, through Meta House’s bold cause for civil courage.
Initiated to Cambodia since 2013, SFC is an intensive short film training and producing camp. 15 to 30 participants will be divided into different crews to get trained by film experts and coaching during production and post-production processes. Its goals are to create more opportunities for Cambodian youth to learn on sets, and expose their filmmaking creativity to the public. The short films produced by each crew will be premiered, as part of Chaktomuk Short Film Festival.
