As of 2024, SFO has been entrusted to (co-)organize three festivals:
*Chaktomuk Short Film Festival
Founded since 2012, CSFF, short for “Chaktomuk Short Film Festival“, is the first short film festival in Cambodia which promotes and rewards quality and creativity. The origin of this festival dated back to the predecessor of SFA, namely Kon Khmer Koun Khmer (4Ks). Although this collective was dissolved in late 2017, the new one, SFA has anonymously relayed this torchlight for Cambodian film communities, ever since.

*Southeast Asia Video Festival for Children
The Southeast Asia Video Festival for Children (SEAVFC) was born on November 27, 2017, in Manila, Philippines. The timing was perfect, as the country was hosting the 50th anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. Ms. Elvira Go, Founding Chairperson of SEAVFC, decided that the video competition at the festival be opened not only for professionals. It must also welcome the aspiring video makers and the children, who will be the future television producers. She realized that Southeast Asia has a vast young population, and they stand to benefit from a project that promotes, celebrates and honors the highest quality in youth and children’s television.
In 2019, Cambodia was privileged to host the 3rd edition of this festival. After COVID19 pandemic, SEAVFC has resumed its activities, handing over, in early 2024, the representative organization in Cambodia to SFO with Mr. SUM Sithen, as the Country’s Governing Board Director.

*Social Youth Festival
Social Youth Festival, or SYF, was conceived as an annual celebration of all things by/with/for society and youth in Cambodia, initiated by SFO and six other local NGOs, following a series of workshops by Resiliency Cambodia in 2020 – a USAID-funded program to help local NGOS cope with COVID19 side-effects. Its first edition was organized in December 2023, attended by some diverse backgrounds of youth and social workers, featuring sharing sessions, fun performances and film screenings. The Committee is still currently working on its next edition.
